Thompson View Manor Society has proudly provided safe, affordable housing and support services for seniors in Ashcroft, British Columbia since 1975. Our 15-suite independent living complex at 710 Elm Street operates seamlessly alongside Thompson View Lodge, offering both assisted and independent living opportunities in a warm, community-centered setting.

The Society was founded by community leaders—including local Lions Club members and health‑care advocates—to respond to growing demand for senior housing. In May 1975, our inaugural board held its first meeting in the Legion basement and began planning the village’s first 30‑unit seniors’ residence—a vision that became reality with the opening of assisted living in 2007.

Today, we’re undertaking an exciting second phase: a two‑story, 29‑unit affordable housing development featuring a mix of one and two‑bedroom suites. Set to expand the Elder-care campus adjacent to the existing Manor and Lodge, this project—including common spaces, EV parking, and mobility support—will create more options for low‑income seniors and people with disabilities who wish to stay in Ashcroft.
